Frequently Asked Questions

Is this workout generator really free?
Yes. The Odin workout generator is completely free, requires no signup, and runs entirely in your browser. Pick your time, focus, and level, and it instantly builds a bodyweight circuit you can start right away.
Do I need any equipment to use these workouts?
No. Every exercise in the generator is bodyweight-only — no dumbbells, bands, or gym required. A pull-up bar is helpful for a few Upper-focused exercises but is not required for Full Body, Lower, or Core workouts.
How does the generator pick exercises?
It filters the exercise pool down to your chosen focus area — for Full Body, it pulls evenly from Upper, Lower, and Core so the circuit stays balanced. If you've selected one or more goals, exercises tagged with those goals are prioritized first, with the rest of the pool filling any remaining slots. Your session length sets the exercise and round count, and your fitness level scales every rep or hold up from its Beginner baseline while shortening rest between rounds.
Can I select more than one training goal?
Yes — pick up to three goals from Strength, Muscle Building, Conditioning, and Mobility & Skills. The generator prioritizes exercises tagged with any of your selected goals before filling the rest of the workout from your chosen focus area. You can also leave goals unselected for a general mix.
Is a bodyweight circuit as effective as lifting weights?
For a time-boxed session, yes — it applies the same progressive overload principle as weight training, just by manipulating reps, tempo, and rest instead of adding plates. It won't replace a barbell for maximal strength, but for 15-45 minutes with zero setup it's a faster way to get the same muscles working hard.
Can I get a different workout with the same settings?
Yes — click "Generate Another Workout" as many times as you like. Each click reshuffles the exercise selection within your chosen time, focus, goals, and level, so you can regenerate until you find a session you like.
How many rounds should I do?
The generator recommends a round count based on your session length: 3 rounds for a 15-minute workout, up to 5 rounds for a 45-minute session. Perform each exercise in the circuit back-to-back, then repeat for the full round count, resting between rounds as suggested.
What is the difference between Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced?
Each level changes the rep count or hold duration and the rest time between rounds. Beginner uses lower reps with 45 seconds of rest, Intermediate increases volume with 30 seconds of rest, and Advanced pushes both volume and hold times with only 20 seconds of rest.
